This course provides a comprehensive introduction to Requirements Management (RM), combining theoretical foundations with practical, tool-supported implementation using Enterprise Architect. Participants gain a solid understanding of requirements concepts, including the distinction between textual and model-based requirements, stakeholder requirements, and effective formulation of high-quality requirements. Building on this foundation, the course demonstrates concrete solution scenarios in Enterprise Architect, covering requirement types and related elements such as features, risks, issues, and tasks, as well as practical techniques for managing, structuring, importing, exporting, and baselining requirements.
Through progressive examples, participants learn how to implement requirement workflows, lifecycle management, reviews, auditing, dashboarding, and traceability using views, matrices, diagrams, legends, and status concepts. Advanced topics include versioning and configuration management with LemonTree and Git, tool-supported workflows, scripting, custom MDGs, and Add-Ins. The course concludes with model-based requirements management (MBRM), impact analysis, traceability from stakeholder requirements to architecture and design, and guidance on fulfilling ASPICE requirements, enabling participants to establish a scalable, consistent, and compliant RM practice.
